The production rehearsals are going very well. Everyone has their lines memorised and we're beginning to learn actions and our songs. Everyone has a song sheet and needs to learn the songs by heart. We are also beginning to sort out costumes. If all the possible contributions can come in on Monday, we can see who needs what and see what we can dig up!
We've tackled the challenging topic of nuclear bombs this week as it came up in our story Kensuke's Kingdom. We've learnt lots about how nuclear fission works, when the bomb was invented, when they have been used and which countries have them now. Fascinating stuff which provoked a lot of discussion.
Have a great weekend.

This week's challenge:
We've heard a lot about gibbons and orangutans in our story. Why not research them further and write a report on them.
