Today we worked with Mr Holmes on our dance moves and created our own version of the Macarena - Room 18 style!!
How the weeks are flying by. Just a few days to go!
Next week we have our open afternoon from 2.30 on Monday and we look forward to sharing the fruits of our labours from Term 3. There’s a whole list of things the children are raring to show you!
It’s also Swim Week with our daily trips to the Stadium to hone our swimming skills.
I will be away from school from Wednesday as I am travelling to the UK to visit my family. The class will be in the capable hands of Mrs Muir and Mrs Buzon for Wednesday to Friday.
Have a lovely holiday and I will see you again in Term 4!

We came, we rode, we conquered! What fun we had in the process! I was so proud of everyone and their fearlessness when faced with new challenges. Well done team!
We’re about to embark on our creating stage in topic so any donations of milk bottle tops, plastic bottles, kebab sticks and other materials for building our vehicles of the future would be greatly appreciated.
We’ve nearly completed our explanations on various topics and also reading lots of different reports to learn about new ideas and places.
Our tessellating shapes pictures are also near completion – Mr Escher watch out!!!

We are very proud to have one of our class be chosen to perform at the School Talent Show in Week 9. Mikayla impressed everyone with her beautiful singing voice and is now practising hard for the big day.
We’ve been sporty again this week, being lucky enough to have a training session with Reilly from Marlborough Tennis. We have some very talented players who it would be great to see representing our school in the Saturday games next term.
We have been exploring turns and rotating shapes in maths and investigating explanations in writing.
The field is drying out nicely so, fingers crossed, our Ride On will go ahead on next Tuesday 11th September.
